Fresh out of the Studio. Give it a listen!

Lyrics

Once Upon A Time                                    Words and Music by Gary Lynn Floyd

Once upon a time I found you,

Eyes that simply saw right through me.

Ears that heard my honest cry.

I knew you before I knew you,

Sweet familiarity.

You blew in upon a west wind,

Balanced my polarity.

I wouldn’t be the man I am.

The lion laid down with the lamb

And there’s peace in the valley.

Oh, love revelation dance with me.

Swing me beside a deep blue sea

And roll me in the tide.

Once upon a time I kissed you,

Taste of snowflake, Santa Fe.

Nothing mattered but the moment.

Nothing matters still today.

I knew you before I knew you,

Sweet familiarity.

You blew in upon a west wind,

Balanced my polarity.

I wouldn’t be the man I am.

The lion laid down with the lamb

And there’s peace in the valley.

Oh, love revelation dance with me.

Swing me beside a deep blue sea

And roll me in the tide.

Just like once upon a time,

You make everything just fine.

You make all the stars align

As we watch the world unwind.

You and I.

Once upon a time I held you

Thunderstorm in late July

Blue-eyed soul with blonde ambition

Lover from another life.

I knew you before I knew you,

Sweet familiarity.

You blew in upon a west wind,

Balanced my polarity.

I wouldn’t be the man I am.

The lion laid down with the lamb

And there’s peace in the valley.

Oh, love revelation dance with me.

Swing me beside a deep blue sea

And roll me in the tide.

Music In The Meaning                             Words and Music by Gary Lynn Floyd

This is the start of something new,

I think it’s coming into view.

Don’t ask me how, but I can see clearly now.

Leaving my footprints in the sand,

Too soon to tell where I may land.

Now I’ve a why, I can bear any how.

I can hear it.

Destiny is calling me to

Give in to the rhythm,

Let it carry me away.

Dance with the audacity,

Find triumph in the tragedy.

On my quest for answers

I won’t rest until I say,

“Now that hope is intervening,

There is music in the meaning.”

Maybe you think there’s nothing more,

Like you have heard it all before.

You’ve lost the thrill,

What happened to your will?

Whether it’s something to achieve,

Or just somebody to believe in,

All you need’s a little respite from your suffering.

Can you hear it?

Destiny is calling you to

Give in to the rhythm,

Let it carry you away.

Dance with the audacity,

Find triumph in the tragedy.

On this quest for answers

Do not rest until you say,

“Now that hope is intervening,

There is music in the meaning.”

Now that hope is intervening

There is music in the meaning

Give in to the rhythm,

Let it carry me away.

Dance with the audacity,

Find triumph in the tragedy.

On my quest for answers

I won’t rest until I say,

“Now that hope is intervening,

There is music in the meaning.”

Like Crazy                                   Words & music by Gary Lynn Floyd and Robin Hackett

In the morning when I wake up,

Prepared to take up another day,

I just wanna play here

In the love we made here,

Stay.

‘Cause I love you like crazy

And I think that maybe

You got the same thing, too.

So, come on over here baby

And love me like crazy.

Love me like crazy.

Close the door and let your mind go,

‘Cause we both know where it is.

We could hide away here

Making love all day here,

Stay.

‘Cause I love you like crazy

And I think that maybe

You got the same thing, too.

So, come on over here baby

And love me like crazy.

Love me like crazy.

This is what I’m talking ‘bout,

Let’s stay in the here and now.

We got all day to work it out.

We could be lazy,

Come on baby,

Amaze me.

Oh, I love you like crazy,

And I think that maybe

You got the same thing, too.

So, come on over here baby

And love me like crazy.

Love me like crazy.

Love me like crazy.

Love me like crazy.

Like crazy.

Come With Me                                                       Words and music by Gary Lynn Floyd

Come with me out by the ocean.

Come with me out by the sea.

Walk with me down by the water.

Let me bathe you in the deep.

We will build a boat together,

Turn our faces toward the sun,

Set our sails into the wind and

Sail out where we two are one,

Oh, come with me.  Oooh.

Believe, and breathe me.

Come with me up to the mountain.

Come with me up to the sky.

Up where we can see forever,

Suspended between space and time.

Ready for whatever happens,

Nothing like we’ve ever seen.

Looks just like we always planned it,

Blessed synchronicity.

Oh, come with me.  Oooh.

Believe, and breathe me.

We’ve got a whole world to explore.

Whenever we both hit the floor,

I want more.

Come with me back to the city.

Come with me back to the crowd.

Caught up in the stir and bustle,

Take my hand, let’s live out loud.

Fill me up with true belonging,

Revel in this ecstasy.

Looks just like we always planned it,

Blessed synchronicity,

Oh, come with me.  Oooh.

Believe, and breath me.

Come with me, oooh.

Believe, and breathe me.

Come with me, oooh.

Believe, and breathe me.

After All            Words and Music by Gary Lynn Floyd

After all this time, you’re still on my mind.

Every day with you feels like the first time I knew

You’d be here for life.

And I wouldn’t trade a minute

For a day without you in it.

There’ll never be another love as wide or deep.

I have the hardest time believing

My heart is still all caught up in the revery.

Together we make love in perfect harmony.

In a world inclined to fake it,

Who’d have thought that we would make it after all.

After all these years, somehow we’re still here.

Just the two of us, holding onto love,

And letting go of all our fear.

And I wouldn’t change a thing,

Just look what love can bring.

There’ll never be another love as wide or deep.

I have the hardest time believing

My heart is still all caught up in the revery.

Together we make love in perfect harmony.

In a world inclined to fake it,

Who’d have thought that we would make it after all.

After all is said and done,

You’ll still be the one.

There’ll never be another love as wide or deep.

I have the hardest time believing

My heart is still all caught up in the revery.

Together we make love in perfect harmony.

In a world inclined to fake it,

Who’d have thought that we would make it after all.

After all this time you’re still on my mind.

One With The Divine                Words and Music by Gary Lynn Floyd and Doug LeBow

A dawn is breaking within you.

Can you feel the promise of the morn?

Your heart is waking to this moment,

A new day waiting to be born.
We are one in the devotion.

Naked in the truth for all time.

We are moved by the emotion.

We are one with the Divine.

We are a portal to awakening.

We are living in God’s love.

Looks like our hearts are finally opening.

Forgiveness rains down like a flood.

We are one in the devotion.

Naked in the truth for all time.

We are moved by the emotion.

We are one with the Divine.

Standing in the light,

Arms held open wide.

Emerging from a night,

Fear all set aside.

No day quite as bright,

No place left to hide.

Everything is right,

And here I will abide.

We are one in the devotion.

Naked in the truth for all time.

We are moved by the emotion.

We are one with the Divine.

God In Everyone                            Words and Music by Gary Lynn Floyd and Jami Lula

Everything beneath the sun

Breathes like a harmonium.

Pure perfection has begun,

Shining like a midnight sun.

Out of darkness I have come.

I see God in everyone.

Let me be an instrument,

Guided by and heaven sent.

May these grapes of pain ferment,

Alchemize to love’s content.

Ever be a sacrament,

Knowing God is my intent.

God, let me know your name.

Hold me in the same breath as your word.

God, I feel you all around.

Oh, how you astound me with your grace.

Rolling like a thundercloud,

Let me live my love out loud.

Standing for mankind and proud,

Baptized in a holy shroud.

Peace be still, and know me now.

God is in all I have found.

God. let me know your name.

Hold me in the same breath as your word.

God, I feel you all around.

Oh, how you astound me with your grace.

Spinning like a prayer feels.

Turning like Ezikiel’s wheels.

Nothing like a kiss seals this spirit I’ve become.

Knowing what I’m here for.

Rowing onto distant shores.

Flowing from the Infinite.

God in everyone.

(Repeat descant)

Out of darkness I have come,

I see God in everyone.

Everybody, get up on your feet.

See the light in everybody you meet.

See the light in everybody you meet.

Let us be reminded of who we’ve come to be.

We are love, we are one,

One big family.

Hey hey, yeah yeah

Hey hey hey, yeah yeah

Everybody, get up on your feet.

See the light in everybody you meet.

Everybody, get up on your feet.

See the light in everybody you meet.

Let us be reminded of who we’ve come to be.

We are love, we are one,

One big family.

Hey hey, yeah yeah

Let us make a joyful sound,

Here we stand on holy ground.

Christ In Me Christ In You            Words and Music by Gary Lynn Floyd

The Christ in me sees the Christ in you.

Everyone’s a chosen one, the many and the few.

All together now, it takes two.

The Christ in me and the Christ in you.

To know love is to be love,

And I know love will stay alive,

If the Christ in me sees the Christ in you.

Everyone’s a chosen one, the many and the few.

All together now, it takes two.

The Christ in me and the Christ in you.

If my friend feels sad or broken,

Every time my heart opens,

Love makes its way into the world,

When the Christ in me sees the Christ in you.

Everyone’s a chosen one, the many and the few.

All together now, it takes two.

The Christ in me and the Christ in you.

I can do all things through Christ who is my strength.

Namaste, namaste.

Om shanti om, om shanti om.

The Christ in me sees the Christ in you.

Spirit’s Prayer                         Words & Music by Gary Lynn Floyd & Robin Hackett

Loving Spirit, dwells in me.

This is my divinity.

As within, so without.

All I need is here and now.

Where there’s error, let me love.

May I have no fear.

All the power, all the glory,

I surrender, let it be.

Loving Spirit dwells in me,

Now and evermore.

Loving Spirit, dwells in me.

This is my divinity.

As within, so without.

All I need is here and now.

Where there’s error, let me love.

May I have no fear.

All the power, all the glory,

I surrender, let it be.

Loving Spirit dwells in me,

Now and evermore.

GOOD DAY!
I purchased several CDs from you in Salt Lake City. When Phoebe was speechless and it was in the clear plastic CD holder and then of the tracks and their names on it. Is there a place I can look on your website for the song titles?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Alvin.
Thanks for your message. I just got it here on my website. I have to learn to check this area more often as sometimes it doesn’t get sent directly to my personal email. You can reach me directly at garylynnfloyd@gmail.com. The songs for the Speechless CD don’t really have any titles. They are just titled Piano 1-11. Hope that helps. Take care and thanks again for reaching out.
All the best
Gary
